About me

This blog is maintained by Chris Kearney, a Biology professor at Baylor University.  I teach Molecular Genetics, Biotechnology and Virology.  My research has focused on viral evolution and cancer research in the past, but I mostly do plant biotechnology now.  My wife teaches English at Baylor and we have five children, two of which are adopted from China.   I was raised in a secular household and became a Christian as a teenager.  I struggled over many years with intellectual issues concerning faith as well as with how I could be a more obedient servant of Christ.  I hope this website provides some bits and pieces to help to those who read it.
